Modern Artists Gallery is located between Reading and Oxford in the village of Whitchurch on Thames in Oxfordshire on the Berkshire border near Pangbourne. We are approximately 12 miles cross country from Henley on Thames - famous for Henley Royal Regatta Henley Rowing Museum and the Henley Festival. We are approximately 16 miles from Oxford and 8 miles from Reading. Muddy boots and Time Out Guide walkers welcome & other walkers are welcome. Children encouraged. Directions

By train:

Pangbourne Station is on the mainline between London Paddington and Oxford, with trains running every 30 minutes. Modern Artists Gallery is a short and picturesque walk from the station:

Walk into Pangbourne and at 1st mini roundabout turn left opposite The Elephant Hotel. At the 2nd mini round about turn left at The George Hotel and continue under the railway bridge and over the Toll Bridge into Whitchurch on Thames. Continue up the High Street, past The Ferry Boat and The Greyhound Inn on the right, until you come to the Gallery on the left, opposite Hardwick Road.

By car:

From M4, Junction 12 take 1st exit, following signs for A4 towards Theale and Newbury. Straight over the 2nd roundabout. At 3rd roundabout take 3rd exit following the A340 for Pangbourne. At Pangbourne left at the George Hotel over the toll bridge pay 60p into Whitchurch on Thames, Oxfordshire. Street parking is available outside the gallery.
